Caribbean cruise March 2015
Day 4
In St Lucia which has been a mixed bag of weather, We headed off on a tour to the volcano we had to take a water taxi again unfortunately this time it was raining hard and we got quite wet. We went inside the volcano which of course was very smelly because of all the sulphur, there were mud baths there too but we decided not to go in those. After the volcano we went to see some waterfall it was pretty and all that. We are now at some beach having lunch looking out to sea.
Just in case you didn't realise I have been going back and updating the past days with more exciting updates.....
So lunch was nice but bloody expensive! The beach we stopped at was an exclusive beach belonging to the island most expensive hotel costing £2k a night to stay. The good news is the weather has brightened up and this time the water taxi back was much more pleasant - it's a 3 engine speed boat and we're sitting at the front so it's more like a roller coaster ride, great for me but I did wonder if Leon would throw up but he is fine. On the ride back the boat chaps got their stash of hardcore rum out..... By the time we got back everyone was dancing and singing so the day turned out pretty good really.
Leon is now watching a programme about cheese - it's extremely boring.
Suntan update - Nicky is 50 shades of pink, Leon is 50 shades of white.
