Day 14
Well it's a very warm welcome to 2014 all the way from Cambodia from us! How's your head this morning?
It's a beautiful day here the sun is shinning and it's hot, we went out on the shuttle bus to the marketplace in Sihanoukville our first views of Cambodia seem much nicer then Vietnam, less polluted and less crazy motorbikes and traffic. That was until we reached the marketplace where the madness started again, this time though we jumped on a tuk tuk (a small motorised open aired carriage kind of thing, pulled along by a bloke on a motorbike) and went for a tour around, this was lovely there was a nice breeze and no more people hassling us. We stopped at some kind of Buddha place, a beach and a nice restaurant for lunch, we then asked our tuk tuk driver to return us to the ship rather then going back to the marketplace of hell.
It's a shame we only had one stop in Cambodia as it really did seem like a nice place to explore around, tomorrow we will be docking up in Thailand for a couple of days, hopefully heading over to Bangkok although we believe it maybe a long taxi drive over so we'll see what happens and also there is some unrest in Bangkok over voting or something - I saw it on the news before we left, I'm hoping the protesters still have a New Years hangover and don't make it out tomorrow.
Here's to making 2014 one of the bloody best, yeah ?! Xx
