Italy and Croatia 2014
Day 5 in the Ventura adventure when disaster strikes!! Can I get a rewind ? So back to yesterday where we're bored and wet and on our way back to the ship, but before getting back on-board we decided to stock up on smokes and head off to a shop. Knowing it was a tropical night on ship we spot another shop selling Hawaiian shirts and go to buy some, I tried to pay with my card but they wouldn't accepted it and Leon paid with cash.
A few hours later back on the boat we meet John and Pat (mum and dad) at the smoking area where they tell us that John has been mugged, had his wallet stolen with his money, driving licence and bus pass. At this point I was updating the website for you lovely followers and didn't think too much about it but did quickly check my bag for my purse, it wasn't there but I'm not too worried as I've been back to the room and taken stuff out of my bag, although I make our excuses and we leave mum and dad.
Now back in the room checking over the stuff I've thrown out of my bag there's no purse!! We turn the room upside down but no luck - my purse has also been stolen :(
Bad news saloon!!
Ok, so day 5 - we are at sea and head out for some sunbathing, not much though as Leon (who is still alive) wants to catch the football bahahaha!! Norwich spanked by Liverpool 3-2 that will teach him for mocking the mighty hammers! How's the championship looking Norwich fans....
After a lovely lunch in the Asian restaurant we head back to the top of the boat to catch some more rays but of course now the sun has gone and it's overcast :(
Hello mum, thanks for your messages! And Lips yes, shhhh I have the mafia picking up Leon on our arrival back in Italy - he is to become a mule not a donkey. But don't tell anyone ok? Oh and please stop meeting my mum in sainsburys - people will talk!
Tomorrow we are in Dubrovnik, Croatia - at least it's not bloody Italy. Love to you all. Xxx
