Christmas vacation 2015
Hello everyone, just for info here in Florida we are 5 hours behind UK time, the weather is hot but cloudy today.
We were going to have a day beside the pool today but because of the cloud we have decided to venture out in Charles instead - that's what we have named the dodge.
Before leaving Leon lets me into a profound thought of his - he'd like to have a squirrel sanctuary and look after 6 squirrels.
We have decided to go to boggy creek where they do airboat rides in the swamp looking for alligators, it's an hours drive away. Leon's pretty much a pro at driving in the US now we only went on the wrong side of the road once this trip ;)
The weather is boiling now so being on the airboat is giving us a welcome breeze, although when we stop to look at something it's pretty unbearable. We did see one baby alligator on our trip but it was the wrong time of the day to see them. After the boat ride there's a quick show by a lady with an alligator, just telling us stuff about these prehistoric creatures and also giving us the chance to hold it...., Of course I held it, go look on the photo page now!!
On the way back I spotted a dollar tree shop (everything 1 dollar) so we nip in for look around - they sell glow sticks, I have glow sticks!
Next door is a crazy golf course so it would be rude not to have a go as we are there, it was actually pretty good fun and probably one of the nicest crazy golf places I've been too - I won of course and I didn't cheat at all!! :)
