Welcome to wet n wild Wednesday! It's wet n wild because that's where we went, it's a water park with big water slides...

We safely arrive at the park with no driving antics to report and get into the park, it's not too busy as we got there early. It's a lovely hot sunny day so it's perfect for a splash around.

We've hired a cabana (if you don't know what this is there's a picture on the photo page), by hiring this we get water, towels, a locker and a nice place to relax.

We head out to find some slides, firstly we find lazy river where you sit in big rubber rings and float gently around a river like swimming pool, the river flows around where our cabana is so that's pretty handy for us. The life guard girl gets chatting to us and it's turns out her boyfriend lives in Cambridge- small world hey!

Then we head to the rides, we go down one head first on a mat through a tube and end up on a slide looking thing - now I'm pretty new to water slides and going head first didn't thrill me that much.

We climb to to the next slide called brain wash, now I have to admit I did chicken out, but it's a minimum of 2 riders so Leon's pretty annoyed with me, but lucky enough another man has come up alone so they ride down together.

We head off to a ride called storm which I think is one I could handle.... Hahaha, we climb half way up and I decide I don't want to ride this one, Leon continues on his own. I wait at the bottom for him and I'm watching to people being dropped out of the ride, it's weird because they don't seem to have any idea where they are, one bloke was so bad the life guard had to get him out!! Then Leon plopped out upside down! He came out and said it was good I didn't go on that ride as even he didn't enjoy it, oh boy now I'm crapping myself more about these rides.

Anyway on to the next one, I do actually try a few tamer looking rides in order to build up my courage and they are good fun. After lunch I've heard enough of Leon's moaning at me and agree to go on the brain wash ride, I can tell you a bit about it but mostly my eyes were shut while I held on for dear life...

...we both climb on to a massive inflatable which can sit 4 people but there just us on this one, then it goes dark not because I had my eyes closed but because you slide into pitch black then fall down a drop, now I have my eyes closed but I could feel us flying through the air then going fast around and around then a bump as we where at the end - at the end!! Ha, I'm still alive! Let's do some more rides!!

Now I've got more courage and we do most of the rides in the park, I'm still crapping myself as we wait but that's a combination of nervousness of the rides and a fear heights.

I love lazy river though and we have a go on these tubes periodically throughout the day.

We don't really do anything in the evening as we are saving ourselves for tomorrow night, we don't have any plans yet but we're hoping to find a party somewhere.
