Christmas vacation 2015
Today's mission is go to the tourist information place which is right by our hotel as we are looking for a laundromat. We also need to find something to do tonight other than that we have no plans.
After breakfast we head out but soon find ourselves wandering off away from the tourists information, we check out a couple of bars for tonight's entertainment - one bar promises to be the party place at only 100 dollars!
We stumble upon 'eat at Joes' serving up crab and lobsters - well it would be rude not to stop and eat right? We have 15 dollar house special lobsters and cocktails/beers. The waitress tells us that there's fireworks from the Orlando eye tonight so we decide that's what we'll do tonight.
We pop into the bar next door for a few drinks but we are hours away from midnight so we stop drinking and head over to the eye to see what's going on.
The sea life centre is at the eye, I grab Leon and drag him through the exit gate and now we are in the sea life centre for free - nice, 50 dollars saved!
After our freebie we head for another bar and have another drink with some chicken wings and fries - this is probably the most we have eaten all week as we just haven't fancied food.
It's still early around 5pm so we pop back to the hotel for a bit, oops I've fallen asleep and Leon's set the wrong time on the alarm so we miss the UK new year, we not feeling much like going out now but we do force ourselves out at 11.30 to watch the fireworks.
We wait for the fireworks which we expect to be something like London's - how wrong we are! The fireworks must have lasted 1 minute at the most! Hahaha complete waste of time.
