Christmas vacation 2015
Hey there! Hope you're all well and enjoying the updates?
It's our last day in Florida so we are up and about early packing up our suitcases, we're having some problems with fitting all our shopping in so it's literally Nicky stands on the case while Leon tries to do them up.
We follow our normal morning routine of breakfast in the hotel which is basically toast and jam and then head to Starbucks for a caramel latte - the Starbucks over here taste so nice but the service and waiting time are terrible.
It's an hours drive over to port canaveral where we board the cruise, now don't tell Leon I said this but I'm feeling pretty safe with his driving. Once there we say a sad goodbye to Charles the dodge it's been brilliant having him to get around in.
The weather isn't so good today it's only 16 degrees with a high of 20, it's pretty overcast and it was drizzly early this morning.
We board the cruise and much to our surprise it's like stepping on to the titanic!! It's pretty dated decor but bigger than expected- for anyone that saw my picture on Facebook that wasn't really our room that's some weird bar with a bed in it!?
We've booked up 3 specialist restaurants so we have that to look forward to, the food we had for lunch was very nice let's hope it continues - we don't have a set dinner time so we won't be sharing a table with the same people every night if we share at all.
We've been on the ship for less then an hour and Leon's talking about movement I think we might be finding seasickness soon - eek.
The Bahamas is our first stop tomorrow, I'll be relying on wifi from the places we dock at from now on so updates may not appear daily.
